Established in 2006, NCZ is an independent third-party verification group that pioneered the first Lifecycle Assessment based on carbon management within the Facilities Management sector. Over the years, NCZ has evolved, developing tools to help businesses strategically understand and manage their carbon footprint through measurement, management, and reduction. Their NCZ tiered certifications/programmes, carbon-conscious events, and carbon-measured services have effectively guided numerous businesses towards their journey of achieving NetZero.
Biological Preparations and NCZ
Biological Preparations is officially working towards NCZ Gold Certification. This collaboration involves accurately measuring our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in compliance with ISO 14064, capturing our baseline carbon footprint across our organisation, operations, supply chains, and reports. This baseline will inform our immediate implementation of reduction plans, ensuring year-on-year improvement.
Working with NCZ provides us with weekly assistance to ensure data collection accuracy and quality. We will also gain access to NCZ’s preferred supplier directory, helping us find carbon-aware suppliers.
