Sales Manager - Scotland

Sales Manager - Scotland

We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Manager to support our rapidly growing client list that spans across FM, Retail, Public Sector, and Healthcare in the Scottish region. 

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you'll play a critical role in executing a direct and indirect sales strategy that encompasses channel growth, new business development, and account expansion. This role is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking make their mark on an expanding brand. You'll be ambitious and customer-focused with the proactive nature to solve problems and suggest new, innovative ideas.

Hitting the ground running is a must. The Sales Manager is a broad and busy role and you’ll be eager to join your colleagues on a mission to make the world more sustainable.

Requirements

  • Located along the M8 corridoor.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing customers/accounts.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Communication and relationship-building skills must come naturally and effectively.
  • Results-driven and proactive in your approach.
  • Computer literate, daily use of CRM Software and MS Office is essential.
  • Knowledge of the cleaning and sanitising chemical industry would be beneficial.
  • An understanding of bacterial and enzymatic activity would be advantageous.
  • A passion for change, the environment and sustainability is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Accountability for the sales retention and growth, brand presence and KPI's of BioHygiene business.
  • Be a brand ambassador for the BioHygiene brand, helping us achieve our mission and maintaining our core values.
  • Drive engagement within our distribution network, taking time to understand their individual drivers, KPIs, targets and current customer portfolio, whilst developing long-lasting working relationships with the Senior Leadership and Sales Teams within each distributor.
  • Plan monthly distributor review meetings to discuss all live and new opportunities and deliver distributor representative training if required to obtain maximum sales potential.
  • Deliver and agree price alterations to our distribution network.
  • Carry out essential admin requirements for each opportunity, including operational saving calculations, pricing models, ROI calculations, tender responses, etc.
  • Maintain a healthy CRM system, working closely with the Mid-Management Team to ensure opportunity records are updated frequently and clear objectives are adhered to.
  • Support our National Account Managers and Channel Managers with the development of national accounts through structured mobilisation.
  • Work alongside the wider Biological Preparations business to manage and develop opportunities from identify to close, supporting them with presentations, trials, case studies and training.
  • Product forecasting for independent and group accounts.
